Compensation (Pay): $28.72 to $41.64/hourly, based on experience.

Job Summary: The Media Production Specialist serves as the organization’s expert in digital media, photography, and videography, and supports both internal and external communication initiatives. The Media Production Specialist manages all aspects of the organization’s media production needs, including scheduling, coordinating production, conducting interviews, directing, editing, publishing, providing creative direction pre- and post-production, and managing studio and field productions. This position also serves as the organization’s primary Photographer and Videographer, manages all video and photography, and assists in the creation, editing, and management of web, digital, and social media content while maintaining the Peak Vista website and Intranet (Quick Peak/SharePoint).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages and coordinates all photography and video productions, and both photo and video shoots.
  • Manages all filming, editing, and post-production feedback on outputs.
  • Seeks to enhance name and brand recognition, as well as public perception, of the organization through quality design, consistent branding, messaging, storytelling, and the development of engaging content.
  • Provides creative input and creative direction during pre-production and post-production.
  • Manages all video and photography field productions. Understands how to manage lighting setups, sound recording, and camera equipment while staying abreast of new technology and emerging trends.
  • Responsible for managing all Peak Vista camera and photography equipment inventory, including cameras, tripods, lighting, gimbals, backdrops, etc., as well as maintains all studio filming spaces. Provides expertise and direction in the ordering of any new equipment.
  • Directs and leads all photography and video production for events, promotional materials, internal and external communications, including but not limited to: training videos, interviews, clinic/staff spotlights, messaging from leadership, internal messaging, events, and ad/promo spots for various platforms
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with departments, staff, and leadership to manage video project needs, solutions and specifications while remaining aware of tone and audience.
  • Manages and coordinates all of Peak Vista’s audio-visual needs for internal/external meetings, events, livestreams, town halls, presentations, etc., including setup of speakers, microphones, and music as needed. Also assists with scripting, creative direction, coordination and scheduling.
  • Serves as Peak Vista’s lead photographer for all events, provider and leadership photos, website and social media images, and more. Assists in the procurement and hiring of any outside photography/videography vendors as-needed for largescale or special events, such as the Breakfast of Champions.
  • Stays up-to-date on emerging technologies and other digitally produced materials and provides recommendations on the purchasing of equipment and software for videography and photography purposes.
  • Works directly with the Senior Director of Business Development & Communications, as well as Communications Team staff, to design and develop project workflow, project management systems, and ensure timely completion of deadline-driven projects.
  • Pitches ideas for creative storytelling and innovative ways to present information through video, photography, and other digital formats.
  • Records and edits audio for webinars and various internal and external presentations, either in-person or with screen-recording software such as OBS.
  • Manages the Peak Vista YouTube channel, publishing and managing content, including the creation of thumbnails, video titles, etc.
  • Manages in-clinic patient-facing video programming on PatientPoint screens – including videos produced in-house and from outside agencies.
  • Manages provider pages on website – including writing biographies, updating information, and updating provider database. In addition, manages other website pages and functions – Including creating and editing pages with feedback from Communications, Leadership, and other departments, removing and updated pages.
  • Manages recording of company “Town Hall” meetings, editing and publishing for employee use, and assisting in setting up Town Hall livestreams as needed. Provides creative direction and production direction.
  • Assists in creation and posting of content for employee intranet site (Quick Peak/Share Point) including photography for use and the creation, posting, and scheduling of content as needed.
  • Assists the Communications team with graphic design as needed, adhering to Peak Vista graphic standards.
  • Frequently assists in the setup, cleanup, and execution of Peak Vista events and activities, requiring offsite, after hours, and weekend hours, as well as frequent travel.

Education/Experience:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Journalism, Marketing, Communication, or related field required.
Work Experience: 2 years of relevant experience required.

Computer Skills:

  • Proficient with Adobe Suite/Creative Cloud with a focus on Premiere Pro. Experience with After Effects, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop are a plus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Additional skills in the following are a plus: SmartSheet, Treatspace, Microsoft Teams, Constant Contact
