Compensation (Pay): $13.61 to $15.66 based on experience.

Job Summary: The Dental Customer Service Agent is responsible for providing excellent, compassionate, and empathetic customer service to each unique individual calling Peak Vista through one-call resolutions.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provides customer service, Dental Customer Service Agent must demonstrate Peak Vista's Core Values in order to reinforce Peak Vista's mission and fully assist our callers.
  • Follows in accordance with all P&P involving patient information regulations (HIPPA) and of on-going dental clinic specific center regulations.
  • Asks probing questions to attempt to complete a one call resolution model by, verifying demographics, insurance coverage, and continue to schedule appropriate dental appointments.
  • Schedules/cancels, appropriate appointments for all Peak Vista's Dental Health Centers.
  • Proficient with all programs including; Nextgen, SharePoint, DeskTop Reference, Cisco Finesse Phone, Microsoft programs, and Dentrix.
  • All reference materials must be used to the best of their abilities in order to perform their employment tasks.
  • Promotes and demonstrates the mission, vision, and Core Values of Peak Vista.
  • Develops and maintains good working relationships with all departments, the management team, medical staff, and leadership.

Education/Experience:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent education.

Work Experience: Minimum of two years in a customer service environment preferred. One year in a call center environment and experience with appointment scheduling preferred.

Computer Skills: Basic – ability to access the intra/internet to manage timecard, review policies and procedures, and read company communications; use e-mail to communicate with co-workers, leadership, and other departments; enter and correct data, modify a workbook, format a worksheet, and use printing functions; create a simple presentation in PowerPoint, run it, and print it
