Peak Vista Community Health Centers is a nonprofit health care organization whose mission is to provide exceptional health care to people facing access barriers through clinical programs and education. This is a two-year grant funded opportunity.
Compensation (Pay): $16.00 to $23.20 /hourly, based on experience.

Job Summary: The well child waiting area provides an attended room where well children (ages 6 months to 12 years) may play while a family member is receiving services at PVCHC.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for well-being and safety of up to 10 children of varying ages at a time. Children are never left unattended.
- Knowledge of alternative guidance methods as no spanking is allowed.
- Responsible for keeping area neat and clean.
- Ensures that toys are in good repair, clean and disinfected daily.
- Complies with all relevant policies and procedures, participates in training as requested by Manager and contributes to a positive work environment.
- Demonstrates the idea that "everyone is in outreach" and adheres to the Compliance Plan
- Promotes and demonstrates the mission, vision, and Core Values of Peak Vista.
- Develops and maintains good working relationships with all departments, the management team, medical staff, and leadership.
- Embraces cultural diversity amongst ourselves and our community.
- Responsible for the human, financial, and material resources as well as data and information entrusted to us.
- Strives to deliver the best outcomes and highest quality service.
- Demonstrates knowledge of and adherence to the Compliance Plan and conflict of interest requirements.

Education/Experience:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent education.
Work Experience: Experience with children required. Knowledge of alternative guidance methods, awareness of health & safety issues regarding children required.
Certificates and Licenses: Current CPR certification required.
Computer Skills: Basic – ability to access the intra/internet to manage timecard, review policies and procedures, and read company communications; use e-mail to communicate with co-workers, leadership, and other departments; enter and correct data, modify a workbook, format a worksheet, and use printing functions; create a simple presentation in PowerPoint, run it, and print it
