Peak Vista is dedicated to providing compassionate and quality health care to adults with developmental disabilities and is seeking a Nurse Practitioner for our Developmental Disabilities Clinic serving patients aged 17 and older. Our ideal candidate has 3+ years of practice experience in family medicine preferably with experience serving the developmentally disabled community. The Developmental Disability Advanced Practice Practitioner works with patients or populations that have developmental disabilities such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, Fragile X syndrome, cerebral palsy and many other developmental disorders. Must be licensed to practice in Colorado or be eligible to obtain a CO license. Prescriptive authority preferred. Comfortable seeing on average 12-15 patients per day. Our Health Centers utilize NextGen EHR, working knowledge of NextGen or other EHR systems is a plus; computer proficiency a must.

You will be joining a team of providers, including a medical director, physician, behavioral health provider and a psychiatrist. This position offers an excellent opportunity for career growth, providing a wide variety of opportunities, including process and quality improvement projects and mentorship. Supervision offered, although demonstrated confidence and provider who is a self- starter would be a plus!

Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
