Job Summary (Essential Functions)

 
 

The Training Project Coordinator will report to the Director of Clinical Training. The Training Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Clinical Operations Training Team with regards to a variety of ongoing training projects and operations. The Training Project Coordinator will directly support the Director of Clinical Training with the scheduling, production and logistical processes for a broad range of Training Initiatives. The Training Project Coordinator will bring forth new ideas, plan and coordinate multiple projects at a time, and assist in the logistical details leading from project start to production. The Training Project Coordinator will also work in conjunction with departments within Peak Vista Community Health Centers to ensure all staff are optimally trained on the electronic health record and/or patient management computer systems to include ongoing training, audits and verify quality assurance standards are being met.

 

Working with subject matter experts and identitying target audience's training needs. Ensuring quality, quantity, flow of assignments, schedules, production processes, writing, editing, tracking and compiling of elements meet all necessary criteria as determined by the Director of Training and Leadership team and in coordination with other departments. Supports Director of Training to ensure proper scheduling and production processes for coordination of training events and processes. Working with external liaison(s) and training team to identify and communicate enhancements surrounding the Electronic Medical Record.  Maintaining the coordination and documentation of the Electronic Medical Record support tickets. Recording and coordinating training meetings and committees. Maintaining project documentation and course folders. Ensuring training plans and training materials are developed appropriately. Implementing and maintaining standardization of process, via training and trainings documentation. Providing as needed support to orientation, training and continuing computer education of staff. Assisting with training design and content development as needed.  Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Work Experience: 1 year experience in documentation of patient care in an electronic setting or billing/coding experience required. 1 year previous training experience required.

Cognitive Skills (Language, Math, Reasoning Ability): Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively using the written word and verbal instructions and adapt messages to different audiences.

Computer Skills: Experience using Microsoft Office Products, including but not limited to Access and Excel.

Other Skills: N/A

Certificates & Licenses: Certified MA highly desired. 


Physical Demands

Frequent standing and walking, occasional long periods of sitting, moderate bending, moderate energy requirements, and frequent fine motor skills. Looking at computer screen continuously for long periods of time, hearing within normal range. Must be able to lift 20 pounds.
