This is a part-time position (20 hours/week)

Job Summary (Essential Functions)

The RMCM Administrative Assistant provides support to the RMCM Manager and is responsible for a wide range of administrative and support related tasks working independently with little or no supervision. Performs complicated event scheduling and email management.  Provide other support and assistance as necessary to increase office efficiency and productivity.  Responsible for attending and taking minutes for various meetings.  Compiles and distributes reports of management. Handles even coordinating and planning, including follow up. Coordinate and monitor assigned projects and responsible parties to assure timely completion. Interact with staff in a fast-paced environment, with specific deadlines, remaining flexible, focused, proactive, resourceful and efficient. User expert level written and verbal communication skills, decision making abilities and attention to detail in daily tasks.  Employee demonstrates knowledge of adn adherence to the Compliance Plan dn conflict of interest requirements.  The employee enhances the effectiveness, efficiency and productivity of the department contributing to, and participating in, departmental performance improvement goals.  Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications
Education:
High School graduate, GED or equivalent in work experience required.

Work Experience:
Minimum 1 year administrative assistant experience preferred.

Cognitive Skills (Language, Math, Reasoning Ability):
High Language, high reasoning and critical thinking abilities. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

Computer Skills:
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and/or Access software. Knowledge of wireless networking, go to my pc experience, desired

Other Skills:
Ability to manage multiple projects, conflict resolution, and interpersonal communication skills are required


Physical Demands
Lifting up to 50 pounds.  While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk.  Looking at computer screen continuously for long periods of time.
