The Dental Assistant Supervisor's responsibility will be to uphold Peak Vista Community Health Center's mission to provide exceptional healthcare to people facing access barriers by providing the highest level of dental practice while embracing the values of: Respect, Teamwork, Excellence, Stewardship, Employee Engagement, Caring and Compassion, and Make Peak Vista a Great Place to Work.

This position exists to serve as coach and leader for dental assistants, supporting continuous quality improvement for clinical dental services and preventative services.  This individual works with the Vice President of Dental Services and the Clinical Dental Director, the Director of Dental Hygiene to assure that organizational key result areas are achieved.  To perform those duties to assist the Clinical Dental Director, Dentists and Hygienists in the care and treatment of patients including proficiency with amalgam and resin restorations.  Perform reception, chair-side assisting, inventory and dental records duties as well as administrative functions.


Position Qualifications and Requirements:

-High School Diploma or GED
-Graduate from dental assistant school preferred.  Dental certification required.
-EDDA Certificate required.
-X-ray certification required.
-A minimum of 3 years working as a Dental Assistant and 1 year as an EDDA
-Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
-Ability to travel from clinic to clinic in own vehicle as required.
