Peak Vista Community Health Centers is a non-profit healthcare organization whose mission is to provide exceptional healthcare to people facing access barriers.  We provide primary care services (medical, dental and behavioral healthcare) through 28 outpatient health centers in El Paso, Teller, Lincoln, Adams, Elbert, and Kit Carson counties.  We deliver care with our strong “Hospitality” culture.  Our organization has over 950 employees and serves over 93,000 patients in the Pikes Peak and East Central Colorado region.  Peak Vista is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc. (AAAHC).

Job Summary (Essential Functions)

Expert in the installation, configuration, operation, and trouble-shooting of PC hardware and peripherals, Microsoft Windows operating systems, and Microsoft Office, and Peak Vista applications; expert knowledge of network technology to include hardware, cabling, protocols, and integration of systems into a Microsoft Windows network environment; experienced in using Help Desk ticketing and work order management software; experienced in using remote desktop tools; is aware of and enforces standards associated with HIPAA privacy and security rules; technical writing and oral communication skills; good interpersonal and customer service skills with technical and non-technical customers; able to work in a team environment; able to move and lift items up to 50 pounds; performs shifts as required to adequately maintain help desk coverage. Must have readily available transportation to go from one PVCHC site to another as needed.

Qualifications
Education: High School Graduate required. Associates in Computer Science or equivalent work experience preferred.
 
Work Experience: Minimum 4 years in computer technology, implementation and design.
 
Cognitive Skills:  (Language, Math, Reasoning Ability): Must have effective oral and written skills. Must be able to enter clear and concise trouble-shooting steps, and able to follow trouble-shooting procedures and solutions.
 
Computer Skills: Must maintain a current working knowledge of IT trends and technology. Windows 7 operating system; PC Hardware and peripherals; proficient in the installation and troubleshooting of printers and scanners; TCP/IP and other protocols; Internet Explorer 11 troubleshooting; Android and Windows mobile devices.

Other Skills: Research solutions and implement new procedures with minimal guidance.
 
Certificates & Licenses: MCP, MCSE, CCNA or any other related to IT are desired. Current and valid Colorado driver’s license required and must have readily available transportation to go from one PVCHC site to another as needed.

Physical Demands
Frequent standing and walking, occasional long periods of sitting, moderate bending, moderate energy requirements, and frequent fine motor skills. Looking at computer screen continuously for long periods of time, hearing within normal range. Must be able to drive and move and lift up to 50 pounds up to desktop height.
