Summary:
Creates and maintains hardware and software inventories. Pulls equipment for Technician daily work orders. Performs stocking and organization of equipment and consumables for use by the department. Perform data entry tasks in creating accounts and completing support operations. Support end users over the phone by leveraging analytical and logical flow troubleshooting to identify and resolve or escalate their issues. Primary responsibilities require long periods of sitting and communication over the phone with users and team members.

Qualifications:

Education:
Associate in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Work Experience:
Minimum 1 year in computer technology, implementation and design.

Good written and oral communication skills.

Computer Skills:

Skilled in data entry and input. Experience in the installation, configuration, operation, and trouble-shooting of PC hardware and peripherals, Microsoft Windows operating systems, and Microsoft Office; understanding of network technology to include hardware, cabling, protocols, and integration of systems into a Microsoft Windows network environment; experienced in using Help Desk work order and solutions software; experience using remove desktop tools.

Other Skills:
Technical writing and oral communications skills; good interpersonal and customer service skills with technical and non-technical customers; able to work in a team environment.

Certificates and Licenses:
MCP, MCSE, CCNA, CompTIA or any other IT industry standard certifications are desired but optional.

The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.

Physical Demands:
Frequent standing and walking, occasional long periods of sitting, moderate bending, moderate energy requirements, and frequent fine motor skills. Looking at computer screen continuously for long periods of time, hearing within normal range. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Must have readily available transportation to go from one PVCHC site to another as needed.
