Job Summary (Essential Functions)

The Enrollment Services Trainer’s primary role is to provide training in the areas of Family Medicaid/CHP+, CICP and Insurance Exchange products. Responsibilities include: Training on the Policies and Procedures for the Family Medicaid/CHP+,CICP, Insurance Exchange applications and data entry into EPM. The trainer will also be responsible for trouble shooting applications and resolving issues with the supervisor to ensure proper education. Training may also include internal and external partners as needed. The Trainer will also act as a representative of Enrollment Services with State, local government, and strategic partners exercising independent judgment in conjunction with their manager through collaboration and coordination while providing exceptional customer service.  This position requires the Trainer to take information from State and the Exchange and immediately turn it into usable education for internal staff and strategic partners.  They are also responsible many aspects of patient needs, customer service and departmental coordination. Provides supervision for all Enrollment Services employees including managing timecards, hiring, training, issuing employer concern notices, and terminations. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: High School diploma or equivalent required

Work Experience: Excellent Customer Service. EPM experience as well as working knowledge of Medicaid, CHP+ and CICP required. Quality Assurance and Training experience preferred.

Cognitive Skills: (Language, Math, Reasoning Ability) Excellent verbal and written skills required.

Computer Skills: Basic computer knowledge

Other Skills:  Able to work independently and as a team. Excellent people skills, listening skills, organizational skills, tracking skills and documentation skills required. Excellent attendance required. Will become a Health Guide Certified Trainer within 6 months of hire as determined by class availability

Physical Demands

Frequent standing and walking, occasional long periods of sitting, moderate bending, moderate energy requirements, and frequent fine motor skills. Looking at computer screen continuously for long periods of time, hearing within normal range. Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
