Job Summary (Essential Functions)

The Program Administrator, under the supervision of the Director of Clinical Operations, and in conjunction with the Residency Program Director, Director of Medical Educations, Director of Academic Affairs and APRN Fellowship Director, is responsible for the daily operation of the residency program, APRN Fellowship program, and Medical students programs, ensuring smooth flow of planning, preparation and execution of activities related to obtaining and maintaining program accreditation, recruiting, resident/student/fellow education and wellness.  The administrator is responsible for understanding all requirements for the EHI programs and accreditation requirements.  

The Program Administrator acts as an educational liaison between attending physicians, residents, medical students, APRN Fellows, and institutional and regulatory administrative offices.

The Residency Program Administrator provides supervision to other program support staff including the Residency Program Coodinator and APRN Program/Medical Student Affairs Coordinator.

Supervision Exercised: Residency Program Coordinator and APRN Program/Medical Student Affairs Coordinator

Education

Bachelor's degree in Health Care related field required.


Work Experience

Experience in graduate medical education preferred.  Minimum of 3-5 years office administration required.
