Job Summary (Essential Functions)
Provides management and oversight of the Immunization Coordinator. Responsible for the Float provider schedules to ensure clinics have appropriate provider coverage. Manage the Practice Management and Electronic Health Records Systems as it relates to float provider and per diem schedule optimization, clinical test results/notes monitoring and assessment with resultant provider notification. Coordinates the Per Diem nurse schedules. Management of employee timecards, PTO requests, evaluations, training and training plans, budgeting and staffing issues. Accountable and responsible in collaboration with the Director of Nursing for planning, directing and evaluating activities of the clinic nurses, including implementation of the organization’s philosophy and goals, standards for nursing practice and the management and development of nursing personnel. Provides leadership and direction in all nursing matters. Responsible for the infection control program at PVCHC. Represents PVCHC as needed in meetings with outside agencies. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse Program.
Work Experience: Minimum of 1 years of clinical nursing experience required. Ambulatory care/Primary care setting experience preferred.
Cognitive Skills (Language, Math, Reasoning Ability): Excellent language, reasoning, and critical thinking abilities required. Calm under pressure, excellent conflict management skills required. Highly objective, seeks to obtain and understand all pertinent facts prior to reaching conclusions and able to multi-task.
Computer Skills: Must be computer literate and have keyboarding skills. Basic skills in tables, spreadsheets and word programs required..

Other Skills: Ability to multi-task and to manage several projects at one time and ability to work with a diverse patient population required. Customer service skills, Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus.
Certificates & Licenses: Current Colorado LPN License and current CPR (BCLS) certification required.. Colorado Driver's License and insurance as required by state law.
Physical Demands
Frequent standing and walking, occasional long periods of sitting, moderate bending, moderate energy requirements, and frequent fine motor skills. Looking at computer screen continuously for long periods of time, hearing within normal range. Must be able to lift 20 pounds.
