Job Summary (Essential Functions)

The Recruiter is responsible for the sourcing and placement of new hire exempt and nonexempt employees for non-provider positions within Peak Vista. The ability to develop strong communication channels with internal and external clients is crucial to success in this position. To achieve this, the right individual must provide exemplary customer service to candidates and internal clients, acting with the greatest amount of professionalism and expressing the highest sense of urgency. This position requires recruitment of all levels of talent, spanning multiple skill bases.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  • Prepare and post jobs to appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges etc.
  • Source active candidates from online databases, contact lists, internal databases, networking and employee referrals.
  • Utilize job boards, networks, forums, blogs, and social media to find qualified candidates Screen resumes, verify that they meet minimum qualifications, and route to the hiring manager for review.
  • Assist with preliminary screening of candidates, and coordinate with hiring managers and candidates to schedule interviews.
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
  • Create positive relationships with all hiring managers and ensure that they are kept up to date with the status of their open positions.
  • Update, create workflows and ensure feedback is obtained from all interviewers in Applicant Tracking System (ATS) software.
  • Develop and maintain a resource rich candidate pipeline for Peak Vista openings.
  • Participate in local Job Fairs.
  • Conduct reference/background checks for selected candidates.
  • Develop, implement, and provide analytical and well documented reports to the rest of the team


Qualifications

Education/Experience:
Education: High School graduate, GED equivalency required. Four year degree in a business-related background is high preferred. Human resources or recruiting certifications is preferred.

Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recruiting experience required; healthcare recruiting experience preferred.

Cognitive Skills (Language, Math, Reasoning Ability):
High language, high reasoning and critical thinking abilities

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of word processing software; Internet software; Human Resource systems; Database software and Contact Management systems.
