Peak Vista Community Health Centers is a non-profit healthcare organization whose mission is to provide exceptional healthcare to people facing access barriers.  We provide primary care services (medical, dental and behavioral healthcare) through 21 outpatient health centers in El Paso and Teller counties.  We deliver care with our strong “Hospitality” culture.  Our organization has over 600 employees and serves over 10% of the residents in the Pikes Peak region.  Peak Vista is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc. (AAAHC).

Job Summary (Essential Functions)

Responsible for development and implementation of Peak Vista marketing and advocacy plans, events and initiatives.   These include driving awareness and demand for Peak Vista as a medical provider as well as awareness and demand for various target market groups – seniors, pediatrics, specific center sites, new centers.  In addition, this position is responsible for the development of marketing initiatives regarding healthcare reform, ACA and informing our patient population of the changes, impacts and Peak Vista’s participation.   Responsible for ongoing contact with public officials (city council, county commissioners, state senators/legislators) to keep them informed of Peak Vista and their service to the Pikes Peak Region.  Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, business or other related field preferred.

Work Experience: 5-7 years marketing or marketing related experience developing, managing and implementing marketing initiatives required. Understanding of marketing principles, social media and event planning/management.

Cognitive Skills: Strong customer service acumen, exceptional written and verbal communications skills, strong reasoning and critical thinking abilities, decision-making capability.

Computer Skills: Microsoft Office applications

Physical Demands

Physical Demands: Frequent standing and walking, occasional long periods of sitting, moderate bending, moderate energy requirements and fine motor skills. Looking at computer screen continuously for long periods of time, hearing within normal range.
