Job Summary (Essential Functions)

Responsible for compiling of Revenue Cycle documentation, to include training materials and reports. Responsible for implementing changes to the appropriate systems based on Revenue Cycle needs. Responsible, with Business Intelligence Supervisor, for creating training for the Patient Accounts Department. Participates in the delivery of training of the Patient Accounts Department, with Patient Accounts Leadership. Responsible for running reports needed by the Director the Revenue Cycle and other Finance leadership for evaluation of Revenue Cycle health. Assists the Director of the Revenue Cycle in the development of policies and standard operating procedures. Coordinates Revenue Cycle improvement activities by the department identified subject matter experts in Reception, Patient Accounts, and Enrollment Services. Leads the subject matter expert teams on individual payers, like Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial insurance. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: High School diploma/GED required.

Work Experience: 3 years medical billing required, 1 year of experience developing/delivering training preferred.

Cognitive Skills (Language, Math, Reasoning Ability): Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively using the written word and verbal instructions and adapt messages to different audiences.

Computer Skills: Experience using Microsoft Office Products, including but not limited to Access and Excel.

Physical Demands

Frequent standing and walking, occasional long periods of sitting, moderate bending, moderate energy requirements, and frequent fine motor skills. Looking at computer screen continuously for long periods of time, hearing within normal range. Must be able to lift 20 pounds.
