Job Summary (Essential Functions)
Oversees all aspects of immunizations for PVCHC. Responsible for assuring all immunizations are properly stored and properly transported if needed. Assists all PVCHC centers with ordering vaccines as needed. Maintains an inventory of what vaccines are where within the company. Does monthly site visits to all centers to ensure compliance with state programs and regulations. Maintains the immunization boards and makes sure they are up to date in all centers. Receives monthly reports, does chart auditing to ensure immunization accuracy, and oversees the immunization system for overdue and due immunizations to help improve immunization rates for all centers. Participates in and helps coordinate outside audits in all departments that pertain to immunizations. Responsible for the upkeep of all policies that pertain to immunizations. Responsible in working with facilities for new centers that are developed to assure proper set up for the immunization refrigerators, which are alarmed, and to make sure the center meets PVCHC and the State Immunization Program standards. Will be part of the County Immunization Coalition and helps coordinate meetings and facilitates as needed. Will be PVCHC's point of contact for any immunization questions or concerns and will have a complete understanding of the immunization schedules. Sends monthly updates on immunizations to all centers as needed, including all VIS information updates, in a timely manner. Responsible for training of all staff that will be administering immunizations and maintains the monthly and yearly staff training. Works with Clinical Team managers, nurses, and Clinical Training Coordinators to create, maintain, and ensure training is proficient. Can be pulled to assist with training. Can be pulled as a float MA in case of emergency staffing needs. Be able to data entry into both EHR and CIIS as needed. Help maintain the immunization portion for MA training manual. Run monthly reports to update immunization rates from CIIS and EHR. Work with IT and the Business Intelligence team when issues arise concerning data entry in EHR. Be able to make patient appointments as needed for all centers. Responsible for running and coordinating immunization clinics as needed. Helps with coordinating administration of employee vaccines. Assists with phone calls in regards to immunization questions or concerns. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education: Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program. “Registered Status" desirable. Military applicant acceptable with equivalent training.
Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience required. Ambulatory care/Primary care setting experience preferred.
Cognitive Skills (Language, Math, Reasoning Ability): High language, high reasoning and critical thinking abilities.
Computer Skills: Must be computer literate with keyboarding skills.
Other Skills: Ability to manage several projects at one time. Ability to work with a diverse patient population. Ability to plan, facilitate meetings. Bilingual (Spanish speaking, ASL) desirable.
Certificates & Licenses: Current LPN License or MA certificate and current CPR (BCLS) certification required. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation along with valid insurance in accordance with Colorado law required.
Physical Demands
Able to support/lift at least 50 pounds. Long periods of standing, moving, occasional periods of sitting. Hearing within normal range for telephone use. Must be able to get from one clinic site to related locations.
