Job Summary:

The Graphic Design & Content Coordinator (GDCC) is a creative storyteller who works at both strategic and tactical levels to manage, create and edit content that addresses the organization’s “big-picture” needs across multiple platforms and channels. This position will also design collateral to include various marketing material, print advertisements, mailers/cards and more.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Creates and writes content to meet Peak Vista’s established goals for brand awareness, increased visibility and increased patient encounters.
  • Composes articles, letters, outlines, nominations, reports and other documents.
  • Writes web copy as needed.
  • Develops and designs collateral to include various marketing material, print and digital advertisements, flyers, posters, web images, brochures, programs, etc.
  • Prioritizes a heavy workload and meet deadlines with a high degree of accuracy and minimal supervision.
  • Identifies and evaluates the effectiveness of messaging through various channels in keeping with Peak Vista’s current marketing plan.
  • Communicates Peak Vista’s brand story through multiple Medias compellingly.
  • Edits proofs and reviews various pieces of collateral to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Leads various projects from start to finish and ensure successful and timely completion.
  • Collaborates on special projects.
  • Provides support to the communication managers in regard to marketing campaigns/messaging plans, social media, events, etc. as needed.
  • Assists with website updates and provides content for pages.
  • Treats everyone with respect and embraces cultural diversity amongst ourselves and our community.
  • Ensures responsible stewardship of the human, financial, and material resources as well as data and information entrusted to us.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of and adherence to the Compliance Plan and conflict of interest requirements. Enhances the effectiveness; efficiency and productivity of the department by contributing to, and participating in, departmental performance to improve goals.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Marketing, Public Relations or related field required.

Work Experience:

1 year of experience in graphic design & content writing required.

Computer Skills:

Ability to access the intra/internet to manage timecard, review policies and procedures, and read company communications; use e-mail to communicate with co-workers, leadership, and other departments; use and create a variety of templates, complex tables, merges; manage table data, sort and filter merges, and also perform basic work with existing Macros; customize toolbars, import and insert graphs, embed Excel data, and elaborate reports; work with multiple worksheets, filter data, use integrate functions, and manipulate databases; customize templates and the PowerPoint environment, and to make a presentation interactive by using hyperlinks and action buttons.


Physical Demands

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk and sit.
