Peak Vista Community Health Centers provides exceptional healthcare to people facing access barriers.
We are a private nonprofit dedicated to premier medical, dental and behavioral health services for people of all ages. We provide primary care services to residents of the Pikes Peak Region through 19 outpatient health centers and are accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc. (AAAHC).
Job Summary (Essential Functions)
Direct management and oversight of the clinical Supervisors, Clinical Team Managers, Clinical Nurse Managers, and Registered Nurses of respective clinics. To include employee counseling, interviewing, hiring, and terminating staff as necessary. In charge of employee time cards, PTO requests, CEU requests, evaluations, training and training plans, assisting with budget and budget variances, and any staffing issues that arise. Will assume similar responsibilities as new sites are determined. Assure continual improvement in patient access by reviewing and providing oversight of clinic operations as it relates to but not limited to provider productivity, schedule and template construction and maintenance, adequate staffing and patient concerns and experience. This will all be done in close collaboration with the site specific provider, director, and AVP’s. Works with VP and Assistant VP's of medical and dental with vetting on clinically related projects; including but not limited to new clinic site start ups and reviewing new grant proposals and maintaining compliance of current clinic related grants. Acts as each team’s second level of customer service representative to handle patient complaints/grievances, both internally with Compliance as well as with external referral sources as needed, Works with the AVP to recruit Referral Providers and set up MOUs as needed for patient specialty services, Works with AVP to develop MOUs as needed for clinical operations, Participates in new project charters as assigned and patient relations issues. Serves on internal senior staff teams such as Action Team as well as serves on ongoing internal teams as a regular member or as ad hoc. Represents PVCHC as needed in meetings with outside agencies, i.e. TRIMBLE FUND, ROTARY, ADA, COHN, School Districts, Outreach events, etc, Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervision Exercised: Clinical Team Managers, Registered Nurses, and clinical Supervisors of respective clinics.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing required.
Work Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in management of diverse multifunctional teams preferred. Previous work experience in the health care arena, such as practice management, desired.
Cognitive Skills (Language, Math, Reasoning Ability): Excellent language, reasoning, and critical thinking abilities required. Calm under pressure, excellent conflict management skills required. Highly objective, seeks to obtain and understand all pertinent facts prior to reaching conclusions and able to multi-task.
Computer Skills: Must be computer literate and have keyboarding skills. Basic skills in tables, spreadsheets and word programs required.
Other Skills: Ability to multi-task and to manage several projects at one time and ability to work with a diverse patient population required. Customer service skills, Bi-lingual (Spanish) a plus.
Certificates & Licenses: Current RN license and BLS. Colorado Driver's License and insurance as required by state law.
Physical Demands
Physical Demands: Frequent standing and walking, occasional long periods of sitting, moderate bending, moderate energy requirements, and frequent fine motor skills. Looking at computer screen continuously for long periods of time, hearing within normal range. Must be able to lift 20 pounds.
