(AAAHC).

Job Summary (Essential Functions)
Responsible for many aspects of patient needs and customer service. Job duties include: Determining eligibility for CICP, verifying private insurance, CHP+ and Medicaid on Web Portal. Registering patients who currently have private insurance, Medicaid, and/or CHP+. Data Entry into EPM and Health Track. Auditing and reporting, to include all types of applications and processes. Receiving telephone calls, transferring calls to appropriate departments and other patient service duties. Supports many internal departments by providing quality customer service. Performs other duties as assigned.

All staff may be required to travel to other locations for business needs.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Work Experience: Customer Service experience preferred.

Cognitive Skills (Language, Math, Reasoning Ability): Verbal communication, basic math and the ability to defuse tense situations required.

Computer Skills: Basic computer knowledge required.

Other Skills: Bilingual preferred. Ability to work both as a team and also independently.

Physical Demands

Frequent standing and walking, occasional long periods of sitting, moderate bending, moderate energy requirements, and frequent fine motor skills. Looking at computer screen continuously for long periods of time, hearing within normal range. Must be able to lift 20 pounds.
