Peak Vista Community Health Centers provides exceptional healthcare to people facing access barriers.

We are a private nonprofit dedicated to premier medical, dental and behavioral health services for people of all ages. We provide primary care services to residents of the Pikes Peak Region through 20 outpatient health centers and are accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc. (AAAHC).

Job Summary (Essential Functions)

Provides administrative support to VP of Operations as needed. Maintains open line of communication and is the primary contact for conference room reservations. Attend, take and prepare agenda and meeting minutes for Safety and Security Team and Performance Improvements (PI) and back-up Executive Administrative Assistances for additional meetings as required. Prepare agenda and minutes for Safety Committee meetings. Primary for Process and Procedure book, tracking reviews/revisions and then publishing them. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education: High School graduate, GED or equivalent in work experience required. 1 yr College or Business School preferred.

Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years experience as Executive Secretary/Administrative Assistant preferred.

Cognitive Skills (Language, Math, Reasoning Ability): Good language skills, high reasoning and critical thinking abilities required.

Computer Skills: Must have keyboarding skills, ability to type with outstanding accuracy, and an intermediate level proficiency in word processing. Experience with Microsoft Office Products – Word/Excel/Outlook/Power Point required.

Other Skills: Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects. Ability to take and transcribe committee minutes required.

Physical Demands

Frequent standing and walking, occasional long periods of sitting, moderate bending, moderate energy requirements, and frequent fine motor skills. Looking at computer screen continuously for long periods of time, hearing within normal range. Must be able to lift 20 pounds.
