Peak Vista Community Health Centers is a non-profit healthcare organization whose mission is to provide exceptional healthcare to people facing access barriers.  We provide primary care services (medical, dental and behavioral healthcare) through 21 outpatient health centers in El Paso and Teller counties.  We deliver care with our strong “Hospitality” culture.  Our organization has over 600 employees and serves over 10% of the residents in the Pikes Peak region.  Peak Vista is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc. (AAAHC).

Job Summary (Essential Functions)
The Communications Project Manager is responsible for the production plan for creative development production, community relations event logistics and streamlining department project demands.  The goal of this position is to manage the moving parts to ensure project completion while next cycle campaigns and strategies are being developed.
 
  • Manage consistent messaging across all channels and vehicles including digital, print, web events, advertising, social media etc.​
  • Work with the requesting cost centers to understand then align inputs with Peak Vista’s objectives and strategies
  • Oversee the communication coordinators in order to optimize & effectively execute campaign deliverables according to defined strategy, deadlines and budget.
  • Oversee that all execution actions and milestones are accomplished on time and budget and that all deliverables meet Peak Vista corporate guidelines, brand strategies, and quality standards and requirements.​
  • Manage provider-centric campaigns utilizing communication tools such as LinkedIn; assisted by communication coordinator
  • Deliver organized and thorough creative direction to internal and external design teams.
  •  Be able to create efficiency in the department workflow to maintain profitability on projects
  • Provide campaign summaries; Track and analyze promotion business results
  • Manage and develop production timelines for simultaneous projects

Qualifications
Education:  Bachelor’s degree required in a marketing, communication, design, business or related field.   Project Management education desirable.

Work Experience: 1-2 years of marketing or communication experience required. 1- 2 years of program and logistical management experience preferred.  

Cognitive Skills (Language, Math, Reasoning Ability): Ability to understand and prioritize activities appropriately based on strategic direction received. Must be resourceful in solving problems, exercise good judgment and oversee production outputs of communication coordinators. Must be a self-motivated, engaged, and accountable team player with excellent people skills and written /​verbal communications. Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.​ Ability to measure and assess results are essential.​ Must understand project prioritization.​
 
Computer Skills: Moderate to Advanced experience in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required.  Beginner to Moderate experience in Illustrator and Photoshop preferred. Beginner to Moderate experience in CS Creative Suite and Microsoft Project preferred.

Other Skills: Must be able to manage a large creative production list, multiple project types and communication event logistics. Must work effectively under tight deadlines with proper coordination of approved vendors. Able to work in a highly matrixed environment and effectively navigate systems/​processes. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.​ Must possess a desire to “dive in” on any type of project.​

Physical Demands

Frequent standing and walking, occasional long periods of sitting, moderate bending, moderate energy requirements and fine motor skills. Looking at computer screen continuously for long periods of time, hearing within normal range. Must be able to lift 30 pounds.
